Wanderers have been handed the prospect of a home tie in the semi-finals of the Vertu Trophy if they can get past Wrexham next week.
The winners of the Whites’ quarter-final tie at the Racecourse Ground next Tuesday night will host holders Peterborough United in the last four of the competition.
The other semi-final will see Birmingham City host League Two side Bradford City.
That tie will take place in the week commencing 17 February, while the second semi-final featuring either Wanderers or Wrexham against Peterborough will be played the following mid-week.
Wanderers have sold out their full ticket allocation for next Tuesday’s night tie at Wrexham as the Whites face a third successive quarter-final in the competition they won in 2003.
