Over 1,000 people gathered in the Premier Suite at the Toughsheet Community Stadium this week for Wanderers’ annual Christmas Carol Service.
The service was led by Club Chaplain Phil Mason and attendees were treated to fabulous solo performances as well as classic Christmas carols, headed up by hundreds of local primary school children.
Delivered in partnership with Alfa Education, the service was also attended by Club legend John McGinlay and Wanderers’ very own Lofty the Lion.
Phil Mason said: “We were blessed to enjoy another special night at Bolton Wanderers as hundreds of people from the local community gathered together to celebrate everything that this time of year is about – togetherness, kindness, hope and joy.
“We were proud to welcome so many talented young people to the stadium who entertained us all with their fantastic performances.
“I extend my thanks to Alfa Education for working closely with us once again to deliver the service.
“From myself and all the staff at Bolton Wanderers, I wish you all a very merry Christmas.”
The primary schools who that took part in the Bolton Wanderers Christmas Carol Service were: Red Lane Primary School, Masefield Primary School, The Oaks, Bolton, The Ferns, Bolton, St Paul’s C of E Primary School, Beaumont Primary School and Ribble Drive Primary School
