Kenny Nominated For PFA Prize

Johnny Kenny PFA nomination

Johnny Kenny has been nominated for the PFA Select Car Leasing League One Fans’ Player of the Month Award for April after helping fire Wanderers into the play-offs.

Kenny scored five goals in five games for the Whites last month – including a stunning strike at Bradford City which secured a top-six finish and set up the semi-final showdown with City.

The on-loan Celtic striker, 22, sadly misses the play-off games with a knee injury which has ended his season early but has played a big part in Wanderers’ promotion push and could sign off with an individual honour in the shape the PFA award.

Kenny has been short-listed alongside Stockport County defender Tayo Edun, Lincoln City’s joint top scorer Jack Moylan, Luton Town’s on-loan Hull City midfielder Kasey Palmer, Stevenage skipper Carl Piergianni and Plymouth forward Lorent Tolaj.

The winner will be decided by a supporter vote, with fans able to select their favourite HERE
