Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC) and Bolton Wanderers Football Club (BWFC) are pleased to announce the arrival of your official BWFC Third Kit for the 2026-27 season.
Designed by Macron, your new Third Kit takes inspiration from the early 90s strips worn by club legends John McGinlay and David Lee. So, it felt only fitting to have the legends join us for a session of our Sporting Memories to reveal the new shirt and share their memories of their time on the pitch.
Made of Memories looks to remind us of the power of football in bringing people together, no matter their background, age or beliefs. We come together on a matchday as One Club. One Community. One Town.
To celebrate the launch, we brought together participants from across our services to share their memories and experiences as a Wanderer. Bringing together participants and coaches from our Sporting Memories and Premier League Kicks programmes showcased the power of football to connect generations.
Our monthly Sporting Memories session provides a space for over-55s to come together at the Toughsheet Community Stadium with one thing in common: being a Wanderer. Often featuring special guest speakers including Jack Dearden and Peter Reid, it felt like the perfect setting to launch our Made of Memories Third Kit campaign.
Premier League Kicks is a Premier League funded project using the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential. BWitC uses this project to create opportunities for young people who are at risk of anti-social behaviour and youth violence, and those from high-need areas, to regularly engage in football, sport and personal development.
As we all look forward to the new season, the Third Kit continues to cement our commitment to our community. Now in its fourth year, the partnership between club and community means 5% from all Third Shirt sales will be donated to BWitC to continue services like Sporting Memories and Premier League Kicks.
When asked about the Third Kit partnership, Ben Lawton, CEO of BWitC, stated: "Here at Bolton Wanderers in the Community we believe in the power of the badge and the power of football to have a positive impact on our community. Seeing participants from our Sporting Memories and Premier League Kicks programmes come together to launch this kit is exactly what it's all about. Now in its fourth year, the club's commitment to donate £5 from each Third Shirt sale allows us to continue, develop and diversify our services as we work toward One Bolton Connected in Success."
Bowel Cancer UK will also proudly be displayed on the back of the Third shirt as Victorian Plumbing's chosen charity.
Alex Woods, Digital Marketing Manager of Victorian Plumbing, said: "We were delighted to have the opportunity to offer Bowel Cancer UK this space on the [edition of shirt 2027]. Bowel Cancer UK represent for us a cause close to our heart and close to our purpose, values and even industry – to be able to offer some increased visibility for such a wonderful cause is something we are extremely grateful to Bolton Wanderers for."
Please note that this is optional for supporters when purchasing their shirt. This will be available from week commencing 29th June,
