Match Preview | Bolton Wanderers v Wycombe

Preview Wycombe

Wanderers return to the Toughsheet Community Stadium with their unbeaten run intact which now stretches out to ten successive games as the Whites prepare to face Wycombe tomorrow.

It was some performance last time out as Steven Schumacher's side put five past Exeter City. Sam Dalby, Johnny Kenny, Thierry Gale, Ibrahim Cissoko and George Johnston all got on the scoresheet last Saturday.

The visitors are on a run of three successive victories in which they have scored seven goals and conceded just the one. The Chairboys put three past both Stevenage and Burton Albion at Adams Park.

Last time out was a much tighter affair on Tuesday night as they took a 1-0 away win against Barnsley which saw former Bolton midfielder Aaron Morley score the winner just before the hour mark.

Press Conference

Steven Schumacher: "Every game is difficult in this league. Wycombe are doing really well, they’ve got themselves into the top six, I went to watch them on Tuesday night at Barnsley and they controlled that game, they probably should have won it by more than one.

"They have got some good players, none more so than Aaron (Morley) who we know really well, they’re in good form and they will be coming here with confidence.

"They will know that we are in good form, we’re unbeaten in 10 and we’re playing well too, so it should be a good game and I’m really looking forward to it.

Wycombe Wanderers Manager Michael Duff: "They’re a big club at this level, and a top, top team. With the run they’re on at the minute and the recruitment they did in January, they’re only getting stronger, and they can hurt you in every way from open play and set plays.

Their manager has been at a higher level and won this league before, and there’ll be 20,000 home fans there, so we know the challenge ahead, but we’re in a decent place too and we’ll go there looking to impact the game in the way that we want to and hopefully get a positive result."
