Manager quotes

Ian Evatt: “For us, we’re focused and we’re calm. We understand that the last couple of games haven’t gone our way and we want to change that as soon as we possibly can but how you manage the lows is really important.

“The focus is on Saturday and getting back to winning ways. The fans have been fantastic and this is all about unity. We’ll being doing our best to win on Saturday and we’ll need their support.”

Leyton Orient Manager Richie Wellens: “We can’t wait. It’s one of the best stadiums and clubs in the division. It’s an opportunity to go into an environment which is a pleasure to play in so we’re looking forward to it.

“They have a big squad full of quality and really good manager. They’re a forward thinking club with a lot of stability which is something that I like."

Team News

Wanderers will welcome back Josh Sheehan after he missed the Bristol Rovers game after an accumulation of five yellow cards.

However, skipper Ricardo Almeida Santos will be out of action for just the one game following his dismissal last weekend.

Form guide

Last time out, the O’s left Cheltenham with all three points after turning around a one goal deficit to win 2-1 thanks to two goals in the final five minutes which will have seen many breathe a sigh of relief after no league win in eight prior to that.

Orient will arrive in the north-west in 14th place, buoyed by that result on Saturday and will be looking to mark their final away game of a successful year, on a high.

Wanderers will be looking to swiftly move on from their last two results and finish their 2023 home schedule with a win to keep them firmly in touch with the promotion places.

Prior to last week, the Whites were on a fantastic run of results so Ian Evatt will be rallying his men to get back on the winning trail.
