Manager Quotes

Ian Evatt: "We know we can be better, that's the thing. We haven't played to our best. We haven't been horrific, we're not languishing at the bottom end of the table. We are there or thereabouts but we know we can be better and we know we can improve and that's what we're trying to do.

"We're all fully invested in what's best for this football club. We've been here a long time. We’ve been on a journey from the bottom of League Two and a completely broken club to where we stand today, with two Wembley visits, some great times and performances and wins along the way."

Mansfield Town Boss Nigel Clough: "Bolton were very close last year, they have been building for three or four seasons and have got a good squad together.

"We did very well in the Carabao Cup there earlier in the season and hopefully we can put in a similar performance.

"I think on their day, them and Birmingham are probably the two teams who can hurt you most in terms of football."

Team News

Captain George Thomason is suspended for this league encounter after picking up his fifth booking of the season in the 1-1 draw with Cambridge United last week.

Midfielder Kyle Dempsey and defender Eoin Toal are recovering well from their respective injuries and both should be back fit around Christmas-time.
