Matchday Buses 2025/26

Bolton Wanderers can confirm that the club’s official matchday bus service will return for all 2025/26 home league games, with slight changes to services running for the upcoming season. 

In collaboration with Tyrers Coaches as Wanderers’ coach service provider, the matchday bus service for Wanderers supporters – which has been in operation since the opening of the Toughsheet Community Stadium over two decades ago – will continue ahead of Saturday’s clash with Plymouth Argyle.

For this season, there are updates to Bus Routes from 2024/25. Routes 1 and 2 have been amalgamated into one route for the upcoming campaign, whilst there are changes in the route taken by BWFC 6.

All potential kick-off times have been considered and accommodated, with full details confirmed in the below document (or click here).

The updated routes are as follows: 

BWFC 2 Route

Bromley Cross Railway Station Stop C, Chapeltown Road, Darwen Road, Blackburn Road A666, Cross Guns Egerton, Blackburn Road A666, A58 Crompton Way, Tonge Moor Road, Bradshaw Brow, Lea Gate, Longsight, Stitch Mi-Lane, Newby Road, Kentmere Road, Deepdale Road, Milnthorpe Road, Bury Road, Somerton Road, Brodick Drive, Blenheim Road, Garstang Ave, Bury Road, Crompton Way, Tonge Moor Road, Turton Street, Halliwell Road, Moss Bank Way, Victoria Road, Chorley New Road, Toughsheet Community Stadium.

BWFC 6 Route

Leigh Road Boothstown Post Office, Chaddock Lane, Mosley Common Road, Sale Lane, Manchester Road, Elliot Street, Castle Street, Tyldesley Road, Market Street, Leigh Road, Market Street, King Street (The bus will then turn around at the bus interchange, Please note the bus will not pick up in the interchange), King Steet, Market Street, Leigh Road, Mealhouse Lane, Church Street, Bolton Road, Newbrook Road, A6 Manchester Road, Park Road, Market Street, Church Street, A6 Chorley Road, De Havilland Way Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Buses will be in service for every Wanderers home game in Sky Bet League One throughout this season. Unless otherwise stated, buses will not be running for cup fixtures (Carabao Cup, FA Cup, Vertu Trophy), unless the club feels demand requires this to take place. 

We can also confirm that bus fares will remain at the same price at last season, with any return ticket priced at £7.
