Max Conway is your Wanderers’ Kia Player of the Month for September.
The left-back capped an impressive start to the campaign by topping our fans’ vote to take the second monthly prize of the season.
Conway, 22, has been an ever-present for the Whites so far in League One with his performances in September helping Steven Schumacher’s men take seven points - including three from a superb 4-1 derby win over Wigan Athletic.
Max said: “Thanks to all the supporters who voted for me and I’m honoured to have won this award.
“September continued the good start we’ve had, except for a blip at the end of the month at Northampton, which made it so important to bounce back with a win over Peterborough last weekend to kick off October the right way.
“I’ve really enjoyed the start to the season and the opportunity to get a run of games in such a good side and the target for me and the team is to keep building on it in the weeks and months ahead.”
Conway polled 24 per cent of the vote to finish ahead of August winner and current top scorer Mason Burstow, with defender Chris Forino in third.
