Goalkeeper Tyler Miller has ended his stay with Wanderers to return home to the United States with a move to Charlotte FC.
Miller leaves after five months with the Whites to take up a further opportunity in the MLS and re-locate his family back to America.
The 32-year-old – who has previously played in the MLS for Los Angeles, Minnesota and DC United – made nine appearances for Wanderers after an initial spell in the EFL last season with Notts County.
Three of those appearances came in League One at the turn of the year but Wanderers have since signed goalkeeper Jack Bonham from Stoke City and David Harrington from Fleetwood Town to strengthen their goalkeeping department.
Bonham kept a clean sheet on his debut in last Saturday’s 1-0 win at Wigan after on-loan keeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe also left the Toughsheet Community Stadium following his re-call by parent club Chelsea.
Charlotte FC, managed by ex-Brentford and Aston Villa boss Dean Smith, start their new MLS season towards the end of next month.
Wanderers would like to thank Tyler for his contribution during his time at the club and wish him well in his future career.
