Nomination Double For Wanderers' Duo

Schumacher Cozier-Duberry

Wanderers have received a double nomination for October’s Sky Bet League One awards with head coach Steven Schumacher nominated for the manager’s award and winger Amario Cozier-Duberry short-listed for the player prize.

Schumacher is nominated alongside Stockport County boss Dave Challinor, Michael Duff of Wycombe Wanderers and Rotherham United’s Matt Hamshaw after guiding Wanderers to three wins out of four in League One last month.

Cozier-Duberry, who recently won League One’s young player award for October after two assists and dramatic late winners against Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City, is on a short-list with Leyton Orient striker Dom Ballard, Stockport County midfielder Ollie Norwood and Mansfield Town goalkeeper Liam Roberts.

The judging panel for the awards comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies, with the winners due to be announced tomorrow.
