Simons arrivals Wembley

Semi-final match winner Xavier Simons starts for Wanderers as the Whites bid to secure promotion at Wembley.

The selection of midfield man Simons, whose goal at Bradford secured Wanderers’ place in the end-of-season shoot-out, is one of three changes made by boss Steven Schumacher to face Stockport County.

Max Conway replaces injured captain Eoin Toal as George Johnston takes over as skipper, while Thierry Gale gets the nod to start in one of the wide positions.

Kyle Dempsey is back among the substitutes with Wanderers set to be backed by close to 30,000 fans as Schumacher bids to lead the Whites back to the Championship for the first time in seven years.
