The build-up is on for Wanderers’ big date at Bradford.
The Whites’ head to Valley Parade on Thursday night with a 1-0 lead in their League One play-off semi-final.
Steven Schuamcher’s men underwent a recovery day at their Lostock training base on Monday before stepping up preparations today and tomorrow for the second leg of the tie in West Yorkshire.
A place at Wembley is the prize and a meeting with the either Stockport County or Stevenage for the right to try and secure promotion to the Championship.
Wanderers will again be backed by a sold-out away following of almost 2,200 fans at Bradford, with Amario Cozier-Duberry – the match winner from the first leg – insisting they will again have a huge role to play in helping the Whites try and take one step closer to their target.
“We need the same energy from the fans,” said the winger, whose superb 10th goal of the season in the first leg gave Wanderers a precious lead to take over the Pennines. “There was a great atmosphere on Saturday night and we need the same from them and the same focus from us. We’re looking forward to it.”
