The B Team completes its Central League Cup campaign when they face Salford City’s Reserves at Lostock tomorrow (Tuesday).
Andy Taylor’s side is unbeaten in Group A of the competition but can’t qualify for the semi-finals after drawing all three games so far.
Salford currently sit bottom of the group with one point from their first three games.
The sides have also faced each other twice so far this season in the Central League, with the Ammies winning on each occasion.
The young Whites could have defender Lamine Toure back in their squad following the end of his loan spell with Bamber Bridge as they look to finish the group stage with an unbeaten record.
However, forward Ben Andreucci is unlikely to figure after continuing his successful loan spell with Buxton with both goals in their 2-2 draw at Southport in National League North last Saturday,
Tuesday’s fixture (KO 1pm) is open to spectators, who are asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes before kick-off and are reminded that there is no parking available at the training ground.
