Steven Schumacher wants his Wanderers side to build on their recent form and record their first victory on the road this campaign when facing Northampton Town.
The Whites head to Sixfields Stadium on an eight-game league unbeaten run and fresh from their Derby Day demolition of Wigan Athletic last weekend, a 4-1 win thanks to goals from Thierry Gale, Mason Burstow and a Marcus Forss brace.
An assured midweek Vertu Trophy victory over Manchester City U21s has continued Wanderers' momentum, and Schumacher is hoping is side can head to Northampton on Saturday and get their first away win on their travels to push them further up the League One table.
"We have to go there with the mindset and the intention to go there and try and win," he said.
"The one thing that we haven't had so far this season is an away victory. Don't get me wrong, we've had some really tough games and been to some tough places, and Saturday will be the same.
"So, we have to find a way to try and win these games if we want to stick in the hunt for those promotion places. They (Northampton) are a well-organised team. They've had a difficult start to the season but picked up recently and got some good results and haven't conceded loads of goals,
"It will cause us a problem with how they're going to play - the directness of it - and how they like to put a lot of set-pieces into your box. So, we have to make sure that we're organised and ready for what's coming.
Wanderers will be hoping to maintain their form in recent weeks, and the Whites Head Coach wants his side to use the same drive and motivation that was seen against Wigan as they look for another positive result on Saturday afternoon.
"The next game is the most important, always," he said.
"Everybody was motivated last week because it was a game that we needed to win and it was a game against a local rival.
"This game isn't a local rivalry but it's another game that, as I say, we have to try and win. We're going away from home to a team that are in good form and we have to make sure we perform well. If we don't, we won't get anything from it.
"So, that's the message to the team. Be consistent, play well, and try and win."
