Xavier Simons, one of Wanderers' latest arrivals, expressed his excitement at getting going in a Bolton shirt after putting pen-to-paper on a four-year deal.
The midfielder, who has experience with both Chelsea and England youth teams, brings a wealth of potential and drive to the club ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
The former Hull City man has signed with a four-year contract, seeing Wanderers as the perfect home for his career moving forward.
Conversations with Head Coach Steven Schumacher and Sporting Director Fergal Harkin have given Simons the confidence and belief that the ambitions of the Football Club can be achieved in the upcoming campaign.
"They've given me a brief expectation of what's expected of me and where they see my career, and it aligns with what I want and what I'm working towards - and that's going to help the club get where it wants to be.
"The expectation is obviously to get promoted and go again - and it's so exciting. Every player wants to be part of that.

"I played a big part at the start of last season for Hull and then I went to Wycombe, and had an amazing loan - I learnt so much.
"Unfortunately, Wycombe didn't get promotion. But I've picked up so much from last season and I know it what it takes to play in the Championship - the quality that's there - and it's a place that this club wants to get to and hopefully I can aid that."
Simons and Wycombe narrowly missed out on promotion in the League One Play-Offs last season, but is looking forward to competing for a starting spot in the heart of Wanderers' midfield in front of a packed out stadium at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
"You've got to have competition," he said.
"If you're playing, you know that there's someone sat waiting to play and take your place. So, you have to keep your standards high and make sure you keep your shirt.
"I'm definitely looking forward to it. It's amazing. 15,000 (season tickets sold) already and we've still got a few months to go - I've heard nothing but good things about Wanderers. I can't wait to get going."
