B Team striker Gez Sithole has today joined National League side Altrincham on loan.
Sithole moves to Moss Lane for an initial month’s stay to gain the chance of further competitive first-team football and strengthen the Robins' squad following a number of injuries in their front line.
The 20-year-old joined Wanderers in June, 2022 after previously making 16 appearances in the EFL for Gillingham.
Sithole has since been a regular for the Whites’ B Team - either side of a lengthy spell out with a knee injury - and trained with Wanderers’ senior squad.
He will now get the opportunity to further his experience with Altrincham, who are full-time in the National League and sitting 11th in the table with just two defeats this season ahead of Saturday’s visit of Ebbsfleet.
Sithole becomes the second of Wanderers’ young players to join a National League side on loan this season, with wing-back Max Conway currently at Rochdale.
