Bolton Wanderers Football Club is pleased to announce that Star 401 Private Hire has renewed for the 2026/27 season and moved up from Platinum to Business Partner Elite.
Based in Westhoughton, the company is a cornerstone of local transport and has built its reputation on reliability for the Bolton community. The step up to Elite reflects the growth of the business and its ambition alongside the club in the Championship.
The new agreement gives Star 401 an enhanced advertising presence inside the Toughsheet Community Stadium through pitchside LED, the Big Screen and experiential assets on matchdays. It also opens the door to creative activations and collaborations with the club through the season, taking the partnership beyond straightforward brand visibility.
Carl Sanderson, Head of Commercial at Bolton Wanderers, said: "Star 401 have been with us at Platinum level and have chosen to go further at exactly the right moment. That tells you something about their confidence in this club and in the town. Reliability is their business, and it is a value we recognise here. What excites me most about this agreement is the creative side. We are not simply putting a logo on a board. We will be working with Star 401 on activations that supporters actually notice and enjoy. I am delighted to welcome them to the Elite tier."
Faruk Mulla, Director at Star 401 Private Hire, said: We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Bolton Wanderers and take the step up to Business Partner Elite for the upcoming season. As a local business, we’re proud to strengthen our relationship with a club that plays such an important role in the community.
"We’re excited to build on what we’ve already achieved together. The step up to Elite means an increased presence and opportunities to work closely with the club and to connect with supporters. We look forward to working alongside Bolton Wanderers and the fantastic network of local businesses throughout what promises to be another very successful season."
