Rainbow Ball
Bolton Wanderers is proud to support the return of the EFL PUMA Rainbow Ball, which serves as a symbol of inclusion, unity and pride and will feature across all Sky Bet EFL matches from 20 February to 1 March, including Wanderers’ fixture against Blackpool on Saturday at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
The PUMA Rainbow Ball is a celebration of LGBTQ+ fans and represents the EFL and all Clubs’ commitment to ensuring football remains a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for every supporter, in every stadium. Throughout the season, Wanderers stands proudly alongside the EFL, Clubs, players and supporters together against homophobia.
Last season, goals scored with the Rainbow Ball saw PUMA donate £10,000 to Football v Homophobia (FvH), supporting their education and inclusion work across the season. PUMA will once again make a donation to Football v Homophobia for every goal scored with the Rainbow Ball across all Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two fixtures. The funds will further support programmes designed to tackle homophobia, promote understanding, and strengthen inclusion at every level of the game.
Homophobia has no place in football. Anyone found guilty of homophobic abuse, whether inside a stadium or online, could face serious sanctions including stadium bans and legal prosecution. The EFL and its Clubs will take swift and firm action against discriminatory behaviour and will work closely with the relevant authorities to ensure perpetrators face appropriate club sanctions and police action.
Supporters play a crucial role in creating inclusive matchday environments. If you witness homophobic or discriminatory behaviour, you can report it directly using the Club’s reporting mechanism One Wanderers Family (TEXT or WhatsApp 07542 850 902), through Kick It Out, or by alerting a steward.

Jay Rosa Football Freestyler
Bolton Wanderers supporters attending the Lancashire derby against Blackpool this Saturday, 21 February, will witness a unique addition to the matchday programme. Professional football freestyler Jay Rosa visits the Toughsheet Community Stadium as part of his nationwide EFL Tour.
Rosa is currently attempting to perform at every stadium in the English Football League. His tour creates a spectacle for fans while driving a serious message about mental health. He supports Mind Charity through these appearances. He uses the platform of football to encourage open conversation and connection.
Where to Watch the Action
The schedule puts Jay in the thick of the fan atmosphere from midday.
- 12:45 PM: Catch the first set at the Leasing Options Fanzone.
- 1:00 PM: He moves to the area outside the Club Shop.
- 1:15 PM: Young fans can see him in the Family Stand North Upper.
- 1:45 PM: A stop at the Well Being Hub aligns directly with his tour’s mission.
2:15 PM: The pre-match tour concludes in the Boxoso Premier Suite FanZone.
Half-Time Entertainment
The performance moves pitchside at the interval. Jay will circle the ground accompanied by Lofty the Lion. This offers the full stadium a chance to see the technical skills that have taken him to over 70 grounds since January 2023.
This tour has already reached iconic venues such as Goodison Park and the Stadium of Light. Rosa aims to prove that football can heal as well as entertain.
"It’s about connection," Rosa states regarding the tour. "If showcasing my passion on the pitch helps even one person feel seen... then every mile is worth it."
You can track the rest of his journey and donate to the fundraising efforts at www.jayrosa.com or follow @jayrosa1_ on social media.

Bolton Hospice Bucket Collection
At this Saturday’s Blackpool game, we’re proud to stand with Bolton Hospice and their #MakingEveryMomentCount appeal - and whatever you’re able to give will make twice the impact. Thanks to generous match funders, every pound dropped into collection buckets will be doubled.
At the heart of the appeal is John’s story. A lifelong, loyal Wanderers supporter, he faced his terminal diagnosis with the support of Bolton Hospice, whose team helped him and his family share meaningful, comfortable, precious moments together. His experience reflects what the hospice does every single day for people across our community.
But they can only continue that care with your help.
As you head to your seat and get ready to cheer on the lads, please dig deep and give what you can. Your generosity will go twice as far and help Bolton Hospice continue providing the compassionate, specialist care that meant so much to John - and to so many families who need it now.
Let’s Make Every Moment Count, together.
