Jay Matete warm-up Cambridge

Jay Matete and Randell Williams both earn starts as Wanderers make two changes to their starting line-up at the Abbey Stadium.

Williams replaces wing-back Szabolcs Schön, who serves a one-match ban after collecting a fifth yellow card of the season in Saturday’s win over Blackpool, to start his third league game of the campaign.

And Matete is back in midfield as Wanderers look to extend their impressive recent run with a possible eighth win in 11 league games which could take them back into the top six.

Goalkeeper Luke Southwood returns on the bench, while ex-Wanderers’ forward Elias Kachunga is named among the Cambridge substitutes as the U’s also look to continue their upturn in form which has seen them lose just once in six games.

On-loan Whites’ striker Dan N’Lundulu is unable to face his parent club.
