Sheehan arrival Northampton

Josh Sheehan and Jordi Osaei-Tutu return to the starting line-up as Julian Darby takes charge of Wanderers for the second time.

The interim boss led the Whites to a first win in four league games at Huddersfield Town on Saturday and makes two changes to the side that started the 1-0 win.

Midfield play-maker Sheehan is back to start for just the second time since injury ruled him out for an eight-game spell either side of Christmas, while wing-back Osei-Tutu makes just a third league start for the Whites.

Josh Dacres-Cogley and Klaidi Lolos revert to the bench in the same 18 that secured the three points at Huddersfield in what’s expected to be a final game in charge for Darby and assistant Andy Taylor and Andrew Tutte.

Former Wanderers’ favourite Kevin Nolan also makes two changes to his Northampton side following their weekend draw at high-flying Wycombe as midfielder Will Hondermarck and defender Max Dyche return.
