Team News | Wanderers v Wycombe

Kyle Dempsey arrival Wycombe

Kyle Dempsey starts his first game since October as Wanderers make four changes to their side to face promotion-chasing Wycombe.

The fit-again Dempsey is promoted from the bench along with Jay Matete, Alex Murphy and Klaidi Lolos following last Saturday’s loss at Barnsley.

Josh Sheehan and Aaron Morley drop out through injury to add to a list of absentees which has been added to by Carlos Mendes Gomes and Joel Randall to leave Steven Schumacher’s squad fully stretched.

Young midfielder Sonny Sharples-Ahmed therefore earns a place on the bench, with youth-team forward David Abimbola also included in a senior squad for the first time following a prolific season with the U19s as Wanderers look for the win to keep themselves in the play-off hunt.

Wycombe name an unchanged starting line-up as they seek a third successive win and a possible place back in the top two.

Wanderers: Baxter, Murphy, Thomason, Johnston, Dacres-Cogley, Osei-Tutu, Lolos, Collins, Forino, Dempsey, Matete. Substitutes: Southwood, Jones, Almeida-Santos, Sharples-Ahmed, Etete, McAtee, Abimbola.
