The international break gives us three weeks without football at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. When we come back, we come back with three home games inside 22 days and a team that has just won two on the bounce.
Supporters who were at Carrow Road will not need reminding. Two wins in a row in the Championship, the first time the Wanderers have managed that since 2018 and a first away win of the season into the bargain. Steven Schumacher’s side go into the break with something to build on and a run of fixtures that gives them every chance to build on it in front of our own fans.

Stoke City, Saturday 10 October, 3pm
Three weeks of waiting ends here. A traditional Saturday three o’clock, a big away following, and the first chance to see whether the Wanderers can turn two wins into three. Get in early, get behind them from the first whistle, and let Stoke walk out into a full stadium.
Middlesbrough, Friday 23 October, 8pm
Friday night under the lights. There is no atmosphere in football quite like it. A prime-time kick-off, a big Championship name in town and a full week’s build-up beforehand. Make a night of it, bring the people you normally only see on a Saturday, and let the noise do its work.
Bristol City, Saturday 31 October, 3pm
Our designated Remembrance fixture and an important afternoon in the calendar.
Before kick-off, the stadium falls silent for the formal Act of Remembrance on the pitch. Rev Hannah Lane, Vicar of Bolton, delivers the Ode to Remembrance. A bugler follows with The Last Post, introducing the minute’s silence, which closes with Reveille. Wreaths are laid pitch-side by serving personnel, who lead a Guard of Honour of standard bearers, veterans, serving members and club staff.
