Wanderers host England men's under-21s in a UEFA U21 EURO qualifier tomorrow night...
The Young Lions will face Luxembourg at the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Tuesday, 26th March (KO 7pm).
England will be back in action for the first time in 2024 when they face their next set of games in the race to qualify for the U21 EURO Finals in Slovakia in the summer of 2025.
It will be the first time England MU21s have played a game at the Whites' home ground since September 2002, when the Young Lions shared a 1-1 draw with Yugoslavia*. Shaun Wright-Phillips scored the goal that day, in a team containing the likes of future full internationals Jermain Defoe, Jermaine Jenas, Michael Carrick and Gareth Barry.
England kicked-off their campaign last September against Luxembourg, when goals from Liam Delap, Cole Palmer and Callum Doyle secured a 3-0 win in Differdange.
