Bolton Wanderers captain Eoin Toal has been nominated for the PFA League One Community Champion award at the 2026 North West Football Awards.
The award recognises players who have made an outstanding contribution to their local community away from the pitch, celebrating those who have dedicated their time to supporting charitable initiatives and inspiring others through their work.
Throughout the 2025/26 season, Toal has played a leading role in supporting the work of Bolton Wanderers in the Community, engaging with participants across a range of programmes and events delivered throughout the town.
The Northern Ireland international has consistently given his time to support BWitC initiatives, meeting young people, encouraging participants and helping to highlight the positive impact the charity continues to make across Bolton.
His commitment to the club's community work has seen him become a popular figure among participants and staff alike, embracing opportunities to connect with supporters and champion projects that make a real difference to people's lives.
Bolton Wanderers in the Community nominated Toal in recognition of his enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to support the charity's work whenever called upon.
