The U21s face a mini-derby when they go to Wigan in search of more points to stay top of the Professional Development League.
Wanderers will be looking for a seventh in in eight league games when they make the short trip to take on the Latics at the Brick Community Stadium on Tuesday afternoon (KO 1pm).
Julian Darby’s side saw their 100 per cent start in the league ended with a 2-0 defeat at Hull City a fortnight ago before picking up a point in the group stage of the Premier League Cup in a six-goal thriller at Blackburn Rovers last Monday night.
The Whites remain top of the table, three points clear of Fleetwood Town, and will have striker Daeshon Lawrence available again to take on their local rivals. Wigan are currently seventh in the table, with two wins and four draws from their opening eight games.
Admission to the game is free with team news and up-dates available on the Academy X account @BWFCU21
Meanwhile, the Whites entertain Rochdale in the U17 Professional Development League Cup, having already booked their progress through from Group F after winning their first two games.
