Bolton Wanderers are delighted to confirm a home pre-season friendly against Premier League Everton at the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Saturday 25 July, kick-off 3pm.
The fixture brings top-flight opposition to Bolton as part of Steven Schumacher's preparations for the 2026/27 Championship campaign. Everton are one of English football's most historic clubs and the tie pits Wanderers against Premier League quality in front of a home crowd.
Everton join a five-match pre-season programme. The confirmed fixtures are:
- DAC 1904 Streda (away), Friday 17 July, 7pm local, Dunajská Streda, Slovakia
- Oldham Athletic (away), Tuesday 21 July, 7pm, Boundary Park
- Everton (home), Saturday 25 July, 3pm, Toughsheet Community Stadium
- Fleetwood Town (away), Tuesday 28 July, 7pm, Highbury Stadium
- NAC Breda (home), Saturday 1 August, 3pm Toughsheet Community Stadium
Wanderers base their pre-season around a week-long training camp in Slovakia, which closes with the DAC 1904 Streda fixture, before the programme builds towards the start of the season.
Ticket details for the Everton fixture will be confirmed in due course, with information for the other fixtures to follow on bwfc.co.uk.
Further pre-season news will follow across the club's channels.
