Wanderers Dedicate Huddersfield Fixture To Her Game Too

Bolton Wanderers are proud to support the Her Game Too movement this weekend, as Wanderers host Huddersfield Town at the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Saturday.

Wanderers have been partnered with the Her Game Too campaign since March 2022 and join a whole host of clubs, ensuring women and girls of all ages feel confident and safe sharing their opinion about football both online and in everyday life, without fear of sexist abuse.

The fixture marks a special opportunity for the club, players, and supporters to come together in championing inclusivity and tackling sexism in football. Her Game Too has become a powerful force across the game, raising awareness and promoting a safe, welcoming environment for all fans - something Bolton Wanderers are fully committed to.

Supporters attending Saturday’s clash can expect to see the campaign highlighted throughout the stadium, with dedicated messaging and activations reinforcing the importance of equality in football. The club continues to stand alongside Her Game Too in ensuring that everyone, regardless of gender, feels valued and respected when following the Wanderers.

Saturday’s fixture is not only a key moment on the pitch, but also an opportunity to make a meaningful statement off it. Fans are encouraged to show their support for the campaign, help spread its message, and play their part in making football a game for everyone.

Together, we can continue to drive positive change - because football is for all.

Debs Parr, the club's dedicated Her Game Too ambassador, said:

" I'm so grateful to our club for partnering with Her Game Too and providing an opportunity to have a dedicated fixture each season where we are able to celebrate girls and women attending football games and ensuring that our club is safe, welcoming, and inclusive to everyone.

"On the day, it’s an opportunity to have those conversations about what ‘Her Game Too’ is about and why it’s important to recognise and confront sexism and misogyny in sport. I feel that my club is invested in making a difference, and I feel privileged to be able to play a small part in that"
