Bolton Wanderers Football Club is excited to announce the trial of a new indoor Festive Fan Zone for the Sky Bet League One fixture against Mansfield Town on Monday, 29th December.
Running in parallel with the club’s hugely successful Leasing Options Fan Zone, this pilot initiative will transform the Boxoso Premier Suite into a high-energy, weather-proof arena. The trial is designed to offer supporters a distinct alternative, complementing the traditional outdoor experience.
The Leasing Options Fan Zone remains the heartbeat of the matchday routine. Open as usual, it continues to offer the classic community experience: fresh air, craft ale and local favourites like Spice Vally, Nam Ploy and Carrs Pasties.
The new Boxoso Premier Suite trial offers a different tempo. Modelled on a "Beer Hall" aesthetic, it will feature long communal tables, a live band, Haze, and a higher-energy "party" atmosphere, protected from the elements.
David Ray, Chief Executive Officer of Bolton Wanderers, said: "Since joining the club, my message has been simple: I am here to listen. Supporters are the one constant at any football club and you have told us clearly that while the Leasing Options Fan Zone is brilliant, the Bolton weather in December isn't always as forgiving.
"This trial is us acting on that feedback and increase the capacity for our pre-match fan experience. We aren't trying to replace the original Fan Zone - that remains the place for your tradition, your Carrs pastie and your pre-match catch-up. But we want to give you a choice. If you want to try something different, the Boxoso Premier Suite is there for you. We’ll see how it goes, and as always, I want to hear your honest feedback on the night."
Star Guests & Entertainment
The indoor event will feature a Q&A at 6:15 PM with Sporting Director Fergal Harkin, who will be joined by a Mystery Wanderers Legend from the Premier League era. The former player, a calm and collected icon of the Premier League years, will be available for photos and autographs.
Activations
- Festive Warmth: Vicky’s Horsebox Bar will be stationed inside the suite, serving mulled wine and spiced cider.
- Food & Drink: The North Bar will serve rapid-pour draughts, supported by vendors offering homemade pizza and Greek street food.
- Fun: Fans can take on the Rodeo Reindeer supplied by Bolton Wanderers in the Community.
Entry Information
Entry to both Fan Zones is free for home match ticket holders. The Festive Fan Zone is strictly limited to 850 capacity on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 5:00 PM.
Please note: to get to your seats you will need to exit the Premier Suite and enter the stadium via your usual turnstiles.
