Following their win over Lincoln City on Tuesday night, our Round of 16 opponents away from home in the Bristol Street Motors trophy has been confirmed as Accrington Stanley.
Ian Evatt's side were drawn against either Accrington or Lincoln City in last Friday's Round of 16 draw, with the tie originally postponed due to a frozen playing surface.
With the rescheduled tie taking place on Tuesday 12th December, Rosaire Longelo's last minute winner ensured Accy's progression to meet Wanderers in the Round of 16.
This sets up a replay of the Semi Final tie from last season's competition, with goals from Elias Kachunga and Aaron Morley famously sending Wanderers to Wembley, on the way to winning the Papa Johns Trophy.
Round of 16 ties will take place week commencing 8th January 2024.
