Wanderers will face the winner of the Accrington Stanley/Lincoln City tie in the Round of 16 of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
Ian Evatt's side progressed to this stage of the competition after topping Group E before beating Port Vale earlier this week thanks to goals from Dion Charles and Carlos Mendes Gomes.
The draw was conducted live on Sky Sports News on Friday evening, with Wanderers being drawn away to either Stanley or the Imps.
Round of 16 ties will take place week commencing 8th January 2024.
