Bolton Wanderers further strengthened the link between the Football Club and the town prior to the final home game of the season with Stevenage with the unveiling of two Coat of Arms seats - to be dedicated to current and future Mayor and Mayoresses of Bolton for Wanderers' games moving forward.
Unveiled by Club Chairman Sharon Brittan and the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton in the KIA West Stand of the Toughsheet Community Stadium last weekend, the two seats are embroidered with the town's Coat of Arms inside the Directors' Box.
With Bolton Wanderers in the Community selected as one of the Mayor's chosen charities for his Mayoral year of 2024/25, these seats will act as further indication of the importance of the Club and Community Trust's link to our local community.
Phil Mason, the club's Chief Operating Officer and Bolton Wanderers in the Community's Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are delighted to further strengthen the connection between the Football Club and our town, including the relationship we hold with the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton.
"It has been a privilege to work with both the Mayor and Mayoress throughout Andy's Mayoral year, and both have been magnificent supporters of the Club in a number of ways.
"Firstly, by selecting Bolton Wanderers in the Community as one of their chosen charities, as well as their unwavering support of both our Men's and Women's team throughout this season.
"This gesture of the dedicated seats, embroidered with the town's Coat of Arms, is another indication of the relationship we hold and the responsibility we have as the town's Football Club to ensure we place ourselves firmly at the heart of our local community.
"We look forward to only continuing those links, through both BWFC and BWitC, in the coming years."
