Bolton Wanderers Women are delighted to announce the triple signing of Jess Lightfoot, Olivia Ball and Annabelle White on dual-registration deals.

All three join ahead of Sunday’s season opener against Workington Town Women at the Dreams2Reality Stadium, with kick-off at 2pm.

With the 2024/25 women’s squad confirmed earlier this week, the trio arrive from clubs in higher divisions to give Myles Smith’s squad added quality and experience before the campaign gets underway.

Annabelle arrives at Wanderers as a talented, young goalkeeper from Blackburn Rovers. A Bolton Wanderers fan and season ticket holder at the club, the ‘keeper will be looking to make an instant impact at the club she supports.

Both Jess and Olivia join the women’s side on dual-registration deals from WSL side, Everton, and go straight into contention for this weekend’s game.

Jess is a forward-thinking player who can operate as both as an attacking midfielder and striker, offering Wanderers’ women added fire power at the top end of the field.

For wing-back Olivia, she joins Wanderers looking to aid her development as a footballer with consistent minutes whilst on dual-registration. With a superb engine down the left-hand side and an eye for a cross, she will bring energy and dynamism for the women’s team this season.

Myles Smith, Bolton Wanderers Women’s Manager, said: “We are delighted to add Jess, Liv and Annabelle to our squad ahead of the weekend.

“All three will bring their own qualities to the squad and add further depth which we will no doubt need as we head into the season.

“With the campaign just a matter of days away, they will link up with our squad straight away with the hope of them settling in quickly ahead of Workington this weekend.”

Annabelle White on joining Wanderers: “I’m really excited to be part of this journey for a club that I’m really passionate about. I can’t wait to get started.

“My family are all Bolton fans meaning they are as excited as I am about this, so I’m incredibly proud to be a part of it. I have been watching Bolton since I was younger and I’m a current season ticket holder, so it’s a big moment for me.”

“I’d love to get a good run in the team. The squad is really strong and I know I’ll have to work hard to get in the side but I can’t wait to get going.”
