Bolton Wanderers Women will welcome FC United of Manchester Women to the Ginge Power Stadium after the sides were paired together in the Second Round Qualifying of the Women’s FA Cup.
Fresh from Sunday’s league victory over FC United of Manchester, Wanderers will renew acquaintances with the Reds later this month – this time with a place in the next round of the Women’s FA Cup at stake.
Tom Cunniff’s side were handed a home tie in Monday night's draw, with the fixture scheduled to take place at the Ginge Power Stadium on Sunday 20 September (2pm KO).
The Whites continued their perfect start to the league campaign at the weekend with a 10-1 victory away from home, but will know that cup football presents a fresh challenge when the two sides meet again.
Wanderers will be looking to make the most of home advantage as they begin their journey in one of the most prestigious competitions in the women’s game.
FC United, meanwhile, will make the short trip to Daisy Hill looking for a response and the opportunity to progress themselves, setting up an intriguing all-Greater Manchester cup tie.
