Bolton Wanderers Women return to action on Sunday afternoon when taking on Mancunian Unity at the Emplas Stadium, home of Chadderton FC.
The Whites will be looking for an instant response and reaction to the 1-0 defeat to AFC Fylde last week, a game in which they had big chances to take points from the game but the Coasters held on to secure a vital three points.
This week, the first since the start of the season, Myles Smith's side have had the luxury of a free midweek - allowing Wanderers the chance to get some work in on the training ground rather than having a short turnaround for another fixture.
This could prove vital as they look to get on the right end of a result against a side who have started the season with four consecutive victories.
Keeping three clean sheets from their opening four league games, and having no fixture last weekend, the Whites know of the challenge that lies ahead of them on Sunday afternoon.
A tight win over Fleetwood Town on the opening weekend was followed by a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra. Then, Unity displayed their attacking prowess in the previous two games, scoring 11 goals across both fixtures to earn maximum points against Curzon Ashton and Poulton Vics.
But the Whites travel to Oldham and Chadderton FC on Sunday in positive mood and looking to continue their level of performances that have been present in recent weeks - but hopefully taking points to go with their displays to push themselves up the Premier Division of the North West Women's Regional League.
