It's the start of two consecutive cup weekends for Bolton Wanderers Women, as they travel to Wallasey to take on Poulton Vics Women in the Third Round of the Alliance Design and Print Cup.

Wanderers progressed to Round Three following a 10-3 victory over Tranmere Rovers in the previous round and will be looking to continue their superb run of form against tough opposition.

Currently top of their own respective league in the Division One South, Poulton Vics head into this fixture with an eight-point cushion at the summit.

The Vics did, however, lose their first game of the season last time out, with Ellie Bradley, Lexie Bordessa and Chloe Davis on target for Chester FC Women in a 3-1 victory on Poulton's home patch.

From a Wanderers' perspective, Myles Smith's side arrive on the Wirral in fantastic form, most recently back to their fluid best when sweeping Blackpool aside in a 5-0 win at Lostock last weekend.

A superb Jess Lightfoot brace - taking her through the 20-goal bracket for the season - as well as another Faye Knox hat-trick helped to secure the three points and extend their consecutive league winning run to 15 games.

With their six-point lead ensured at the top of the Division One North, the Whites' focus now turns to the cup for the next two weeks as they continue to fight on three fronts this season - with Preston North End to follow the trip to Wallasey in the County Cup Semi Final.
