Bolton Wanderers Women head into Sunday's game with Poulton Vics (kick-off 2pm) looking to continue their unbeaten run in the league and return to winning ways.
Last weekend saw Wanderers share the points on the road to Tranmere Rovers. Goals from Ella Tweedle, Emmanuella Cambell and Sienna Limbert all found the net, with the team coming from behind twice to make sure they returned to Bolton with a share of the spoils.
It was a physical, hard-fought contest from start to finish, with Wanderers having to dig deep and match Tranmere’s physicality. Bolton showed outstanding resilience, earning them a fully deserved point on the road.
Last season, the two teams faced off in the Design and Alliance Cup, where the Wanderers bowed out after a hard-fought 2–1 defeat away to Poulton Vics.
This time, the Wanderers will be aiming to flip the script against a Poulton side that has managed just one win in their last five league matches — a victory back in October against Curzon Ashton FC Women.
For home fixtures at Victory Park this season, admission prices will be introduced - priced at just £3 for adults, £1 concessions and under 8s going free.
This will be through cash-only turnstiles at Victory Park for every home fixture. No card payments will be accepted for entry.
