Bolton Wanderers Women return to league action this Sunday as they welcome West Didsbury & Chorlton Women, with kick-off set for 2pm.
Sunday’s fixture marks Wanderers’ first game back following the Christmas break, and the squad will be eager to hit the ground running as they look to get back on the winning track. Bolton were last in action before the break at home to Darwen, where they suffered a 3–1 defeat, and will be determined to respond with a strong performance.
Wanderers will take confidence from the last time the two sides met. Earlier in the season, Bolton travelled to West Didsbury and came away with an impressive 5–3 victory in an entertaining, goal-filled encounter.
However, the challenge will be a stern one. West Didsbury arrive in excellent league form, unbeaten in their last five matches they will want to continue 2026 how they left 2025.
