Bolton Wanderers Women are back in action on Sunday afternoon when making the trip to the Step Places Stadium to take on West Didsbury and Chorlton Women.
Wanderers go in search of their first victory of the new season following two defeats to Darwen and FC United - games in which the Whites could and probably should have taken points from had they been more clinical at both ends of the field.
On Wednesday evening at Victory Park against FC United, Faye Knox grabbed her second of the campaign and a debut goal for Abbie Brown twice threatened a comeback for the hosts late in the second half but United held firm to claim a 4-2 victory on the road.
Despite the frustrating defeats, Myles Smith's new-look side have shown signs of life and optimism with large spells of dominant play and control - in both fixtures so far - but will be looking to put together a 90-minute performance on Sunday afternoon to claim their first three points of the campaign.
In West Didsbury and Chorlton, they will face a side who have had mixed results in their first two games. On the opening weekend, they were beaten 7-0 by AFC Fylde, before grinding out a battling 1-0 victory in midweek thanks to Ava Bushell's 81st minute winner.
