It was a dominant display from Bolton Wanderers Women on Wednesday, sweeping aside Curzon Ashton 8-1 to record back-to-back league victories.
A Faye Knox hat-trick, a Lucy Walsh brace and goals for Abbie Brown, Madison Hardman and Sanah Mehdi ensured Wanderers head into Sunday's game with Fylde with a complete performance under their belt.
Myles Smith's side had threatened a performance such as this in recent weeks and in spells during their previous three games, but tonight it all came together at Tameside Stadium with some free-flowing attacking intent on display.
The Whites made four changes from the weekend win over West Didsbury and Chorlton, with Hannah Baldwin, Eleanor Seals, Natasha Dale and Mehdi all coming into the starting line-up - as Wanderers continued to freshen up their side with a huge turnaround of games during the opening month of the campaign.
This made no difference to the away side, as they came flying out the blocks on the night and were ahead inside two minutes.
Faye Knox, who was unplayable for the whole of the first half before being taken off at the break, received a pass from Dale in space down the left-hand side. She cut inside and let fly from 20 yards, finding the bottom corner expertly to nudge Wanderers in-front.
One quickly became two inside five minutes as Walsh grabbed her first goal in Wanderers' colours. From a free-kick, Seals moved the ball quick out to Knox. She glided past her defender and pulled the ball back from the byline brilliant to find Walsh, who calmly finished with her left foot.
Wanderers were in full flow and should have made it three inside 12 minutes. Dale split the Curzon defence to release the ever-willing runner of Ade Fatuga-Dada - who rounded the keeper but nudged it wide so had to cross - forcing a clearance off the line with Brown waiting for a tap in.
The woodwork then came to Curzon's rescue as Knox once again was at the heart of all things good in the opening 45. Pulling the ball back once more to find Seals charging onto the ball to hit first-time from the edge, her effort came back off the post and away from danger.
But they did not have to wait long to extend their lead further and it was Knox again on the scoresheet. Baldwin clipped a lovely ball over-the-top of the Curzon defence for Faye to drive into the penalty area with, before slotting home superbly to make it 3-0.
The hosts, however, continued with their endeavour, and were rewarded when pulling a goal back as Abigail Chesworth's cross from the right evaded everyone to find Jordon Bailey at the far post for a simple finish.
This triggered Wanderers back into control and Brown restored the three-goal lead nicely when latching onto a deft ball over the Curzon defence from Katie Holt and coolly slotted it into the bottom corner.
Four minutes later and Knox completed a first half hat-trick in a stunning display. A trademark Walsh diagonal was pinpoint for Faye to control on the run, allowing her to take the ball past her defender, into the area and dink the effort past the 'keeper.
Wanderers were not done yet in the first half, and made it 6-1 with central defender Walsh grabbing her second of the night after a Fatuga-Dada cross from the right fell nicely into her path to find the bottom corner.
With a commanding lead at the break, Wanderers made a double change with Knox and Baldwin replaced by Zara Plano and Heidi Clark, but it did not disrupt their flow.
Chances again fell Wanderers' way, with Plano latching onto a Dale cross from the right before shooting, only to see her effort cleared off-the-line.
Curzon, to their credit, continued to defend everything thrown at them by the away side and were resolute in their approach in the second half.
Two more changes followed as Millie Smith and Hardman entered the action, and the latter get herself in on the act inside the final quarter. Brown turned provider for the forward as she controlled a drilled cross from the right and applied an emphatic finish to make it 7-1.
Brown went close to making it eight after a free-flowing move from back-to-front emphasised their dominant performance, but Mehdi had the final say on the night with her first goal for the club.
A Hardman cross from the right was diverted up into the air by Fatuga-Dada into Sanah's path and she confidently nodded the ball home with her head to round off a brilliant night's work for Wanderers Women.
It's the perfect performance heading into Sunday's game with AFC Fylde, returning to Victory Park looking to make it three straight wins this coming weekend.
