Developed in the Whites’ youth team, Inwood signed a first professional contract before the end of his scholarship, penning a three-year deal with Wanderers in April 2023.
The left-sided defender made a first senior appearance as a substitute in an EFL Trophy tie in October, 2023.
He again came off the bench in the Trophy in November, 2024 before Steven Schumacher handed him a full debut and two starts in League One at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Having established himself as part of the senior set-up, the high-regarded central defender then made a further start in a Carabao Cup tie in August, 2025, picking up a red card in a defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
Manchester-born, Inwood qualifies to play for Northern Ireland and has been recognised at U21 level.
