Wanderers are straight back into action on Saturday after the 1-1 draw with Reading in mid-week after a late Royals goal denied the Whites back-to-back home league wins.
Steven Schumacher will be aiming for maximum points this weekend against a side who have never beaten Bolton away from home since the move to the Toughsheet in 1997.
However the Imps have made an incredible to start to the season with three victories and one defeat. With the loss coming away from home at AFC Wimbledon but only after Adam Jackson was sent off early on for Lincoln.
Wins over Reading, Plymouth Argyle and Northampton Town have had the Imps off to a flyer and should be full of confidence ahead of Saturday.
Press Conferences
Steven Schumacher: "Lincoln have had a great start, they've won three out of four. They're a team who are really well organised, they have a good team spirit and work ethic.
"They will be fully aware of how we're going to try and go about things so they come here full of confidence. But as I say we'll go into the game with confidence as well because we believe if we play as well as we did the other night and we get our attacking players into them areas then we'll be fine."
Lincoln City Boss Michael Skubala: "Lots of players in the building there (Bolton) so it's always difficult to know what team they're going to pick because they've got two for every position and really strong.
"So I think the best thing they have is their quality of depth and their strength in depth. They dominate at home, dominate the ball quite a lot. We've watched all the game's including last night's (Reading game) where I thought they did very well."
Team News
For Wanderers the majority of the squad is back fit. Good news for Kyle Dempsey who rejoined training on Friday in a limited aspect.
Sam Dalby made his debut on Wednesday night after picking up an injury in pre season. Richard Taylor is making good progress with the defender completing 45 minutes in the B Team's win over Preston North End on Wednesday afternoon.
The Imps signed Ukrainian U21 international Ivan Varfolomeev on Thursday to join the midfield ranks after players like Ethan Erhahon left in the Summer.
