Tuesday's visitors sit 20th, six points above the relegation zone and are looking to improve their record of just one win in eight games.

Since former Wanderer Nolan took charge of Northampton on the 23rd of December his side have lost just twice in his six games as Manager.

Press Conference

Julian Darby: "It's important to try and follow up what happened on Saturday. I don't think you could beat the performance and the celebrations at the end and the positivity around the place.

"It's important to back that up with the win tomorrow. If we've got any aspirations to do anything this year we have to put some sort of run together.

"If you do that you move up the table, so let's be nice and positive. It won't be easy tomorrow. ‘Nobby’ is coming to town to start with and he will be desperate to try and put one over on us and I think they've lost only two out of the last six."

Northampton Town Boss Kevin Nolan: "It is not about resting on this performance. Now, we are looking forward to Bolton on Tuesday.

“A great stadium, good pitch. Hopefully, we can go there and give a good account of ourselves again.

“If we can keep doing that and keep matching these lads who have been doing it week in, week out, it will get us going in the right direction and where I want to be going.”

Team News

Wanderers are still weighing up the fitness levels of defensive pair Ricardo Almeida Santos and Eoin Toal after they were both absent on the weekend with hip and hamstring injuries respectively.

Jay Matete is serving the second of his three game suspension meaning the midfielder won't be available until the home fixture against Crawley Town on the 8th of February.

Northampton's Tyler Roberts, Ali Koiki and Ben Fox have all been in training in the last couple of days but this fixture might come too soon for the trio who are returning from injury.

The Cobblers have been busy in the transfer market signing midfielders Liam Shaw and Terry Taylor from Huddersfield Town and Charlton Athletic respectively.

Form Guide

Julian Darby's Wanderers come into this game off the back of three points away at Huddersfield which brought the Whites just one point off the play-off places.

But Wanderers are facing a side who they have an excellent record against, having won every home league game against the Cobblers since 1989.
