Match Preview Wimbledon

Wanderers are back in league action this weekend following Tuesday night's 1-0 victory over Rotherham United in the Vertu Trophy.

The Whites are looking to take that winning feeling into the league after four consecutive 1-1 draws off the back of the Blackpool draw last Saturday.

The Dons have three wins and two defeats in their last five games, most recently a defeat to fellow promoted side Bradford City.

After going ahead 2-1 thanks to Marcus Browne and Matty Stevens, the Bantams turned the game on its head with goals from Bobby Pointon and Will Swan following Joe Wright's first half goal.

Press Conferences

Steven Schumacher: "Now we know what we've got, we go with this squad now until January at least so that's good.

"Its been a tough start, I'd say the Wednesday games in particular make it more difficult but having a couple of clear weeks before we go into Saturday fixtures will be good."

AFC Wimbledon Boss Johnnie Jackson: "They're (Bolton) definitely going to want to get up and running, I've seen all of their games and they'll be thinking something similar to us that they should have more to show for it,

"I think they've generally been really consistent in their performance levels and maybe perhaps haven't got quite what they deserve."

Team News

Valuable minutes were given to players on Tuesday night, Tyler Miller in particular who grew into the match and made some good saves.

Wanderers will of course be without Captain Eoin Toal who is away on national team duty with Northern Ireland and will miss Saturday's game.
