Whites Book Slovakian Summer

Wanderers are changing venue for the early part of their pre-season preparations with a trip to Slovakia to precede the 2026/27 EFL campaign.

After visiting Portugal and then Marbella for pre-season training camps over the past four years, the Whites will head to central Europe as a key part of their build-up next time around.

Steven Schumacher’s squad will conclude a week-long trip to Slovakia with a friendly fixture against DAC 1904 Streda, which will be open to supporters. The game will take place at Streda’s home stadium in Dunajská Streda in the south of the country on Friday, 17th July (KO 7pm local time). 

DAC 1904 play in the top division of Slovakian football and are currently second in the table behind reigning championship and serial winners Slovan Bratislava with three games to go.

Confirmation of the trip to Slovakia follows news that Wanderers will play current Dutch top-flight side NAC Breda in a home pre-season friendly on Saturday, 1st August (KO 3pm) as another part of their pre-season preparations, with the full story HERE
